Connect ChatGPT to Brickmaster
Use ChatGPT's developer mode to create a private MCP app for Brickmaster, scan its read-only tools, and enable it in a chat.

Brickmaster remote MCP server
https://api.brickmaster.app/mcp- In ChatGPT web, open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode. If that control is absent or restricted, ask your workspace administrator about its developer-mode policy.
- Open Settings → Plugins, choose +, and create a developer-mode app for a remote MCP server.
- Enter the Brickmaster MCP URL shown above, choose OAuth, and use DCR/public-client discovery—not static credentials. Complete Brickmaster sign-in and collection approval, then wait for the nine read-only tools to appear.
- Open a new conversation, choose Developer mode from the Plus menu, and select Brickmaster. A managed workspace may also require admin review or publication before other members can use it.
Brickmaster advertises offline refresh access and issues rotating refresh tokens for this connection. If setup instead demands a client ID or secret, stop: Brickmaster deliberately does not issue confidential client secrets to AI apps.
What happens during authorization
The AI app opens Brickmaster in your browser. Brickmaster shows the requesting application and its exact return address, then asks you to sign in and choose which collections it may read. The AI app receives a Brickmaster-only MCP credential—never your Brickmaster sign-in token or Supabase session.
Never paste an API key, Supabase token, Brickmaster session, client secret, or custom Authorization header into the AI app. A compatible host discovers Brickmaster's public OAuth flow from the server URL.

- List only the collections you selected when connecting
- Summarize sets, minifigures, ownership, build states, brands, and locations
- Search your collection and inspect one item's safe catalog and build context
- Find duplicate copies and collectible-minifigure series gaps
- Compare LEGO theme progress and review bounded build history
- Search Brickmaster's global LEGO and alt-brick set catalog

Change access or disconnect
In Brickmaster, open Settings → AI connections. You can change this app's selected collections, disconnect it, or disconnect every AI app. Brickmaster revocation takes effect immediately even if ChatGPT still displays the old connection.
The AI app processes tool inputs and results under its own terms, retention, and training policies. Brickmaster excludes email addresses, household members, prices paid, sellers, acquisition sources, private notes, OAuth details, and internal database fields.
